Terms of Service
Welcome to Light Cloud! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our hosting services, website, and any associated services (“Services”). By using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
1. Definitions
– Client / Customer / User: any person or entity using or subscribing to Light Cloud’s Services.
– Services: web hosting, cloud hosting, domain registration, email hosting, VPS, shared hosting or any other service provided by Light Cloud.
– Account: the account you create with Light Cloud to access/receive the Services.
– Authorized User: any individual who is authorized by Client to use the account.
– Content: all data, files, text, images, email, scripts, graphics, etc., that a Client or Authorized User uploads, stores, transmits or uses via the Services.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using or accessing our Services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms, including any future modifications. Light Cloud may modify these Terms at any time; the modified version will be effective when posted. Your continued use of the Services after modifications constitutes acceptance.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your country) and capable of entering into binding contracts to use our Services. If you are registering on behalf of a company or business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity.
4. Account Registration
– You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
– You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account, and for all activities under your account
– Notify Light Cloud immediately of any unauthorized use or breach of security.
5. Payment, Billing, Refunds
– Fees & Payment: Clients agree to pay the fees for Services in accordance with the pricing plans on our website. All payments are due in advance unless otherwise agreed.
– Renewals: Unless otherwise stated, service subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel renewal according to the cancellation policy.
– Refund Policy: Light Cloud’s refund policy is as described during purchase; unless explicitly promised, some services may be non-refundable.
6. Use of Services / Acceptable Use
You agree:
– Not to use the Services for any illegal purpose, or in violation of any applicable law, regulation or third-party right.
– Not to host malware, phishing sites, offensive or infringing content.
– Not to overload or interfere with the services or infrastructure of Light Cloud.
– To comply with any network or bandwidth limits, storage quotas, Acceptable Use Policy, etc.
Light Cloud reserves the right to suspend or terminate Services that violate these policies.
7. Intellectual Property
– You retain all rights to your Content.
– Light Cloud retains all rights to its trademarks, logos, software, designs, etc.
– By uploading or transmitting Content, you grant Light Cloud a license (non-exclusive, worldwide, transferable if necessary) to use, store, backup, deliver and otherwise process that Content as necessary to provide the Services.
8. Data Backup, Security & Uptime
– While Light Cloud will make reasonable efforts to maintain security and uptime, we do not guarantee 100%.
– Clients are responsible for backing up their own data. Light Cloud is not liable for data loss except as required by law or contract.
– Light Cloud may perform maintenance, updates, or outages; wherever possible, prior notice will be given.
9. Termination & Suspension
– Light Cloud may suspend or terminate Services if you breach the Terms or Acceptable Use Policy.
– Clients may terminate their service according to the cancellation procedure described (e.g. via account settings or support).
– Upon termination, you must pay all outstanding fees. Termination does not relieve you of obligations for payments already due.
10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
– Disclaimer: Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Light Cloud disclaims all warranties to the extent permitted by law (including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement).
– Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Light Cloud will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages, or loss of profits, data, business, goodwill, or other intangible losses, even if advised of possibility. Light Cloud’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by Client for the Services.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Light Cloud (and its affiliates, employees, agents) from any claim, demand, damages, liabilities, costs or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of:
– Your breach of these Terms,
– Your use of the Services, or
– Any violations of applicable law or third-party rights by you or your Authorized Users.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
– These Terms are governed by the laws of [choose jurisdiction—e.g. Pakistan / or specify] without regard to conflict of law provisions.
– Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or Services will be resolved by binding arbitration / or in courts.
13. Miscellaneous
– Force Majeure: Light Cloud is not liable for delays or failures due to causes outside reasonable control (e.g. natural disasters, internet outages, war).
– No Waiver: If Light Cloud fails to enforce any right under these Terms, that does not waive its right.
– Severability: If a provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions still apply.
– Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Light Cloud regarding the Services.
